Part II

CLASS 2

III. REVELATION HAS PENETRATION AND GOVERNING POWER

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Review: a.) Expect to receive revelation knowledge. b.) The Holy Spirit unveils it to us. c.) We must ask the Lord to make us understand.

Pray for revelation
A. Revelation is not just words -- it comes with an intensity that inscribes His Word on your heart and mind.

Hebrews 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
Righteousness has penetrating ability and governing ability.

Example of violating natural law: When you get close to the event of violation, you become very aware of the penalty of those laws.

1. Speeding violation.
2. Stealing candy as a child

You have a choice: Slow down or disobey.

Law-impressed becomes guardian to your lifestyle -- if making an off course decision, the law then comes up and alarms you on the inside.

B. Likewise, the revelation of righteousness will become a guardian of your lifestyle. When you violate the laws of liberty in Christ Jesus, then righteousness revelation comes up and governs your thinking.

Law is a Negative Motivation. Most people are governed by law and penalty. Even people in the church.

Righteousness gives positive motivation by partaking of the liberty and benefits of God’s fellowship with you.

Meditation produces Revelation
Revelation produces Motivation
Motivation produces Action
Action produces Fruits or Results

IN THE BEGINNING, RIGHTEOUSNESS THE ORIGINAL THOUGHT AND INTENT OF GOD

TEXT: Genesis 1:26 – 28 v.26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. V.27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. v.28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

I. GOD ORIGINALLY MADE MAN ON AN EQUAL PLANE WITH HIMSELF

The natural mind equates imagery and likeness to the parent. "She is just like her mother." Or he is just like his father. God is the initiator of making in image and likeness. Man was enabled to commune with God on the same level of existence as God.

A. What was in God's mind concerning man? God’s original intent for man was righteousness.

1. Not that God was to have the physical attributes of man, but that man was to have the spiritual attributes of God.
2. To have His ability to exercise His authority

Hebrews 2:6 – 8 v.6 But one in a certain place [Psalms 8:4] testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him? v.7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands: v.8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

Angels (Elohim [Hebrew]) = God Himself

2. God's motivation in creation was to take His life, reproduce, and create offspring called man. Now man was created in His own image and likeness; then God turned everything over to him.
Example: A business apprentice (father and son business) the father trains, entrusts to the child, and gives the business/labor of his life over to him. The father's pride is not in his labor, but it is in his son.

God's objective was for God to labor, and then put it in Adam's hands. He created an adult

(Critical Statement) -- not a developing child -- with the attributes of God.

Colossians 2:9 For in him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Your view of yourself vs. God’s intent and the way He sees you as He reveals it to you in prayer.

The struggle of development is not on your shoulders.

A Christian is not to become a Christian. He is to discover what he is.

B. Man's task is to discover what he is.

1. Adam was to discover what he already was. Adam's spiritual walk had nothing to do with growth and development, but with discovery.
Hebrews 2:7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; (Elohim) thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:
2. There was an internal command realm, that when Adam spoke, creation instantly obeyed. Adam, at his inception, finds himself as a master and ruler only! Everything is at his beckon and command. Everything obeys his voice!
3. Today we are influenced by our environment instead of influencing our environment. So we tend to develop in terms of the amount and type of influence our environment exerts on us.
4. Its like going through life hoping that things will work out for me. Righteousness revelation makes you realize that now that you are in right standing with God you make these things work out.
5. Adam had innocence and dominion. That is what you have been given by God.
Innocence = no knowledge of good and evil; no sense of guilt, only of God and what He could do; innocent from any presence that could not obey him
Dominion = to have total rule and authority over
Hebrews 2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

Submit = yield to the way of

Subject = arrange yourself under

Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Colossians 1:16 – 18 v.16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: v.17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. v.18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

6. Satan is explicitly designed to obey God. His rebellion is his problem.
7. Satan is subject to us.

v.16 For by him (Jesus) were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
Preeminence = to hold the first place; to be the all authoritative one

8. Righteousness says that which was the original intent of God in the Adamic creation is the intent of God for the church.
9. Satan was pre-notified that his master is man. You must understand the jealousy in Satan as he heard that man was to be the offspring of God. The Fall occurred because Adam did not speak!

Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

10. We are offspring of God. Angels are not offspring of God.
11. Satan rebelled against God’s original intent of God for man.
12. Satan wants you to think you have been demoted and have to prove yours self.
14. God wants you to know that you have been elevated to the level of His original intent for man. Meaning you are in charge and the boss of everything.
13. All Eve had to do was say Satan get out of here and leave us alone.

II. THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF ADAM

A. Adam was given total authority over all creation; God created all for man.

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply,
and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

B. God provided everything for man before He created man. Everything was designed to be self-perpetuating (seed-bearing). God was more than generous and loving to Adam.
Genesis 1:29 – 31 v.29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. v.30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. v.31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
God's and man's mind were one, in union, there was no concept of failure.
Read Genesis 1 - 3 with appreciation, and meditate on it; revelation knowledge will result.

C. Everything is given now to you. Righteousness is not a labor of me or you it is a labor of God.

2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

D. God worked for man first.
1. God created, then He produced the work for man; then He rested, and now calls man to His rest of faith. Labor to enter into His rest. (Works Motivation vs. Righteousness Revelation)
2. Religion is man’s attempt to do this and that and work to get noticed or made right in the eyes of God It is as if we try to work out our own salvation. Or crucify Christ again. Work is a product of rest – Righteousness says it is already done for you. Have your eyes open for disclosure and revelation.

Genesis 2:8 – 17 v.8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put
the man whom he had formed. v.9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. v.10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. v.11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; v.12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. v.13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasseth the whole land of Ethiopia. v.14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goeth toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates. v.15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. v.16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: v.17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

3. He has already worked in our rest of His faith. Adam was placed in an environment that was already working for him.

Hebrews 4:3, 9 – 11 v.3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. v.9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. v.10 For he that is entered into his rest, (Not latent inactivity but a place of comprehension of God’s activity.) he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his. v.11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

a. God does everything first, then directs you to follow. God kept the enemy from your life; now you keep the enemy out of your life.
b. God has already planted; just enjoy the growth of it!
c. This understanding takes the performance pressure off and puts the relationship desire on. You become aware of God walking with you.
d. God gives you responsibility with ability. Man was enabled to do; not responsibility with inferiority, or without authority in God to do it!
e. Righteousness says, "I can do all things through Christ; we are well able to take the land!" (Don’t say I will do my best. God does not want your best. Not ever.)
f. Once revelation of righteousness is really revealed, you realize the whole world has been notified of your existence. Everything is waiting for you to speak to it and command it.

Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

Romans 8:19 For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]. (Amplified Bible)

g. Any word that diminishes His dream for your life diminishes your righteousness-consciousness and makes you more aware of inferiority than ability.

E. Adam had the ability to protect what God gave him.
